What is Crossword Maker?

Crossword Maker is a shareware web application to design crosswords in png or jpeg format. Then you can use the crossword image inside your documents or put it on a web or ...
The syntax is simple and powerful (for every personalization don't hesitate to write us) :

You have to divide every field by ,
Every line has to have the same number of fields
Write a letter to put the letter in a white square (usally capital letters are used, Crossword Maker can allow you to use also small letters).
e.g. Q,W,E,R,T,Y
Write a number to put the number in a white square top left.
e.g. 1,2,3,4
Write a number + a letter to put in a white square the number top left and the letter in the center
e.g. 12L,O,14V,E
Write a plus + to design a black square
e.g. O,+,77E,A
Write a blank " " to design a white square
e.g. +, , , ,+,

If you want a Windows client that can run on CD-ROM write us and we'll send you the application on the CD-ROM.

Purchasing, Licensing and Registration

Crossword Maker is shareware. That means that you're welcome to try it and use it as much as you want for 30 days (the demo version put red lines on the png images). If after that time you like Crossword Maker or would like to continue using it, we ask you please to purchase it or remove it from your system.
We have not protected the registered Crossword Maker version. You are not allowed to distribute or resell the registered Crossword Maker version without Pivari.com's authorization.
If you're a developer or a software house, and wish to use Crosswork Maker inside of your own applications, please email us directly at info@pivari.com
Everyone is authorize to distribute the demo version.
Crossword Maker is a web application. Its cost is based on the use you make of the web application.
If you use Crossword Maker only for personal use: this means that only the person that registers the license is authorize to use use it (no limits to the jpeg and png distritution). Obviously we can't verify this, simply we trust you.
In this case the price is very cheap: $19.

05/15/2004 version 1.2: You can make png images with transparent background color. You can set interlaced.
02/15/2004 version 1.1: Crossword Maker can make crosswords also in jpeg format! This means that the i-mode phones that can display images in jpeg format (504i series) can use Crossword Maker and display the final crossword. Probably every wap 2.0 phone. You have simply to change the initial form.
